my 2 favourites.

in thoughts
It have been an eventful past 3 months. Within this short period of time, many things changed. Now, my 2 favourites are no longer at home and I miss them so so much.

To Sam..

Dear Sam, jiejie and chiwern finally got married! Many people came to our house and we had catered food. I wish you were here celebrating this joyous occassion with us. Gigi was kind of bored and Laoyi thought gigi was you and wondered how you became so fat! And if you were here, you'd probably give your cutest look hoping to be fed! At times like these, where the whole family gathers together, I would miss you terribly. I still can't believe that you are gone already and sometimes I'm so afraid of forgetting how you look like, how you cuddle with us, how you tip-toe, your everything..Remember me ok! Till we meet and spend forever together! I love you.

To Chin Ling..

Hi Jiejie! Gosh! I never thought I'd miss you so badly. Until..I see you sitting at another table for dinner..you no longer sleep with us in the same hotel room..you no longer take the journey home with us..you no longer shop with us..you no longer stay in JPB... It's so weird to say goodbye to you and the house is so quiet without you and your lame jokes! And I no longer run into your room just to see what you are doing. The 3rd floor seems so lifeless! Everything is so different without you, but one thing for sure, we are sisters forever! You can count on me, always. Have a sweet honeymoon and take care till we meet again! I miss you and I love you!

For you.

in thoughts
Dear Sam,

it's sunday today. A family day. It felt different without you around. As I sat at the dining table studying, you weren't beside me. I tried hard to keep my mind occupied, but somehow when I turn to look at your usual spot, I can't help but feel upset that you are no longer with us. I miss you so much.

In the afternoon, mum and I talked about you. We remembered the times when you first came into our house, you didnt even dared to move. And you would cry every night and bark at every thing. You would bite our shoes and poo all over the place. Slowly, you grew up to be such a fine dog. One that is so shy and obedient, so loyal and adorable. You charmed all of us with your "give-me-food eyes" and give us hugs when we say baobao. I just miss hugging you so so much. Sam, i miss you.

Sam sam, how have you been? jiejie said that she saw you happily in a garden area, with Jesus playing with you. She says that you are happy. I'm comforted to know that you are happy, but please don't forget me ok.

Dad misses you too. He kept calling gigi as sam. Everyone at home says that you are the best dog ever, you are such a dear to us. and I know, you are not just a dog, not just a pet, you are a friend, our best friend and you are a part of the family and will forever be in our hearts...

i love you.

Love,
jiemei

my best friend.

A new chapter

cellgroup
Yay, yesterday was my last day of school! So thankful to have survived through this busy september!

After 15.5 years of education, I'm out of school! No more homeworks, no more assignments, no more reports, no more presentation, no more tests, no more spelling, no more tingxie, no more mental sum (still got one exam paper to go though!)

our first few days in school....
(gosh, I totally look so off! like ah lian!)                                                   Our last day in school!!

It's not that I hate school or anything! In fact, I enjoyed my school years! I'm just excited to move into a next chapter in life! *Wonders & anticipate*

My past 3.5 years in SIM has been totally different from what I've expected! Unlike the happening times I see my brother having when he was in NUS, mine was relatively boring! I guess RMIT students are somewhat a little nerdy, or maybe its just me! Probably because we don't have hostel/hall events, and that I didn't join in CCA!

Love list:
  • Love the friends in school! (they kept me sane through projects!)
  • Love the very very helpful and wonderful lecturers.
  • Love the tea and pastries that they serve for break (now no more!! =((( )
  • Love the night classes (don't need to wake up early!)
  • Love the clean environment!
  • Love the cheap binding services.
  • Love the free carpark.
  • BAZAARS & Pushcarts!! (I'm just so glad they bring shopping to school!!)
Well, of course I certainly don't enjoy the distance to school, when classes fall on Saturday and the very slack schedule which makes me feel lazy. And of course, for taking away the free tea breaks and making us print our own notes!

I'm graduating!!! I can't help but feel so excited. Even though it means no more pocket money, lesser free time, but I just feel so excited that a new chapter is starting soon! =))

F1 Grand Prix Qualifying Round!

cellgroup
And so on Saturday, we catch our exciting race at the F1 Grand Prix! Putting on our Ferrari shirts (our very 1st couple-look-alike shirt!) and cheering them on! I'm so glad to be part of the first F1 night race!!

@ the entrance!

we saw 10 over Lamborghini!

Ferrari Fans!!

We went to hunt for good seats, the kind where the chair would vibrate when the car zooom past, and ta da! we found it and thank god, didn't got chased off by anyone for the whole race! And so we had a very good view, smelling the tyres and hearing the blasting vrooooom! I even saw Alonso getting off his car looking really disappointed!

I know, i know, Ferrari didn't come in first last night..but well, when I catch the qualifying round, live, they did!! It was exciting, having Massa zoooooming his last lap to catch up and be first!! =)

Once again, I love my weekends! It's monday again, back to work!

1 reflection essay, 1 presentation, 1 exam paper and I'm ready to graduate! woots! =)

To the woman who grew up with me!!

September!

cellgroup
Woah! August has passed just so quickly and now, we're in the month of September!

September marks the end of school term for me! After this month and one exam paper, I'm finally graduating!!
Many people have been telling me to enjoy times as a student because the working life is really lifeless..
But somehow, I am soo looking forward to work!

68

Its gonna be a total new beginning. Dressing up as a professional & wearing high heels, getting to know new people, eating my favourite twix while working, getting paid, going to work with korkor and jiejie (she would be Mrs Diong by then! and staying in a house of milk and honey!) in the c70, taking MRT home after work etc etc,
gets me all excited! =)

Well, lets hope I don't come home crying after my first day of work (again)!

September will be a busy month with many projects and assignment due! It will also be a month of celebration - many many people's birthday! And I also have to settle some stuff  as a BRIDESMAID+sister of my favourite ger!

We are soo close to the wedding of the year!
Stay tuned to Thoughts of the Bride's Sister! =)

Thoughts

in thoughts
It's been a long long time since i blogged my thoughts!

Emmanuel

I've been seeking God's confirmation for my relationship for quite some time
and he simply answered it with Emmanuel - God with us.
That's more than I could ask for.

Reality with Passion

And so a few weeks ago, I received my offer letter for audit. It was a mixture of feelings! Relief cos future will be secured. Especially like the job market is so bad now...and so, i really thank god for blessing me with a job even before graduation!
El Shaddai - God Almighty who is all sufficient!

yep, and on the other hand, really a little sad. because audit really wasn’t something I love. I really dun like the late nights and irregular hours during peak period.

So it was really, passion or reality?

God was timely. For cell group, we were doing this book - Your Best Life Now. For the first chapter it was on Enlarging your Vision!

"Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wine-skins, and both are preserved."
- Matthew 9:17

Chin Ling told us to jot down our old wineskins and to envision our new wineskin! It was then I realise why my blessings are not there. My own thoughts and attitudes were condemning myself to mediocrity.

Old Wineskins
For me, I'm a rather pessimistic person. My expectations for everything was really low.
I have no passion for life and live each day as it is.
My thoughts were:
You won't get baptised in the near future, your parents will not receive salvation, you will not excel in life and of cos,
this is what I always say to everyone:
I will die in Audit! I hate audit!
(of cos many more negative thoughts)

"We have to conceive it on the inside before we're ever going to receive it on the outside. If you don't think you can have something good, then you never will."

New Wineskins
To be greatly blessed. I will not sit around and be envy on how others are being so blessed. I will claim this promise!
I will see that my family receive salvation, I will get baptised, I will excel in Auditing and many many more!!

It's no longer reality or passion.
But reality with passion!
How you see it, is how it will be! =) will no longer live my life in mediocrity but remember that I'm God's Precious Princess whom He will bless abundantly!

My Father - my Hero.

Sunday service was on My Father - my Hero. It got me started thinking about my father.
Since young, I love to use the word "I tell my father!" or "my father say"  because it has so much power in it!
People got scared, (even teachers! hehe) whenever I used my father's name!
Indeed, my father is really my HERO!

So yesterday as Ps Khong prayed for the fathers in the church, there was great thanksgiving in my heart.
I really thank God for my father. He is a great husband to my mum and a wonderful father.
In fact, he is a guide on how my future husband should be!

I sat there and think about what dad has failed to do in my life.
I couldn't think of any.
He is always there.

At dinner, khoon seng was engrossed in the football match. Dad wanted to talk to him, but then he held back and say "let you watch your soccer first, don't disturb you" Sis was commenting on how useful the Parenting course was for him! Dad is really wonderful. He's not young already and yet he bothers to make an effort to have a greater relationship with his children.

And then for sister's house renovation, dad gave sis advice on what are the important things to note. He mentioned that tell the contractor, "my father say..." (in case the contractor cheat them) I whispered to Jing that that was my favourite line in the past and it's really useful! and she said it's hers too!

Dad is like that. He looks stern and fierce but deep down inside, he protects his family.
He loves all of us despite what we do.

I thank God for dad. He is my hero!

I love my mummy too! =)

I love my Father And Mother I Love You!

so in love!

cellgroup
And so, we had a different Saturday spent! Not the usual movies-walk around-eat date (though I still enjoy it!)...but a photo shooting day!

The plan was to explore The Southern Ridges! The TSR Adventure! =)

Unfortunately, it rained! yes, again! =(
Yes, and so our shades, our kuku fan, my sun hat and water bottle were not needed anymore!

But thankfully, this time, we still decided to explore the places! with umbrella and raincoats prepared! instead of walking, we drove to the places! it was really fun because there was no crowd and so we can do whatever pose we want to. And because we brought tripod stand, instead of the usual self-take photos (that we have a million pieces), we can take nicer views! =)

</div></div>
yay! a different saturday to be in love all over again! =) I'm thankful because I expected you to be bored! hehe. But instead you enjoyed it too! *huggies*

more pls. You promised we'd go again! Remember hor.
=)
